What Is Probate?

Probate follows the death of someone. In those sad circumstances our clients tend to be daunted by all of the information and tasks they have been given, not to mention the decisions they have to make.

Unfortunately, even at a time of grief and pain, our clients must face the administration of an estate.

Aria Legal offer its clients Grant of Probate Services as well as Estate Administration Services.

Process

Through the probate process, the deceased’s Executors (when there is a Will) will be given the right and the authority to deal and distribute the deceased’s estate according to their last wishes.

The executors will need to apply to the Probate Registry for a Grant of Probate. It is by this legal document that they are given the authority to administer the deceased's estate.

Probate Services

Our Grant of Probate Service is about the preparation, check and processing of the Grant application.

We check all the information our clients share with us and then:

We apply to the Probate Court on behalf of our clients to obtain the Grant

We provide our clients with the Grant and all the copies they need to administer the deceased estate.

Estate Services

Once the Grant has been issued, we gather the assets, pay the outstanding debts & taxes on behalf of our clients.

Our experienced team of legal and tax experts will manage all aspects of estate administration and distribution in a timely manner.

Once all the assets have been identified, collected and the debts paid, we’ll begin distributing the assets to the beneficiaries according to the deceased’s wishes. We always make sure the estate distribution is done according to all rules and regulations.
